Posts 22751 and 22756--hysterical.

Some symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Symptoms include (but are not limited to)

1. spending great amounts of time and effort in pursuing
meaningless trivia;

2. accumulating, conserving and preserving great amounts of meaningless trivia over years and decades which he fantastically believes "proves" him right

3. construction of delusions in which the meaningless
tidbits of trivia add up to "proof" in the obsessive's mind that his fantasy is fact;

4. loudly, redundantly and obsessively proclaiming his trivia to add up to larger "facts" to everyone with whom he comes in contact;

5. rewriting history to comply with personal delusions;

6. complete incredulity on the part of the obsessive as to why his self-evident fantasies are not completely and unquestioningly accepted by everyone with whom he comes in contact.

What a waste of an otherwise average mind.
