Lieberman is Tweedledee to Bush's Tweedledum. They can both rot. Neither is anywhere near the center, but far to the right - as you apparently are. There's a good reason so many Americans don't even care enough to vote at all, and you exemplify it..

You don't want a real opposition party, you want a real OPPOSED party. A party opposed to things that the general population ISN'T opposed to. If the current Dem. party and its ideology is too much for this country, then this country has gone down a very bad track. On a true political spectrum based on how people in the world think, the Dems are probably very close to center. That would make the GOP very right of center. If there are only two parties, and both parties have to be right of center to make it, then the US is fukked!
