That's the clique that is waning politically in the US at a fast clip. I don't think I've ever seen something diminish as quickly as this one has. It can't happen quickly enough. Republicans running against a Rep administration, not just a few, not just some outliers, but everyone, best I can tell, who considers themselves the slightest bit vulnerable. Much in the NYTimes today about Lieberman's vulnerability, to note someone else who is on the edge of defeat because of this.
