Re: Maybe it's a delay in the chipsets or MBs? Conroe works in existing motherboards using existing chipsets. Clearly, something else is going on. Hasn't Intel shipped over a million parts in the first month of other launches? And NGA is supposed to be the whole Intel line - there will be desktop, server, and mobile parts all contributing to that "1 million" that won't be reached until nearly a quarter after the launch (though mobile "launches" a month into that quarter). Intel makes their own masks (IIRC), so maybe their mask staff all went on vacation from May to July. Is that what's going on? When everybody gets back from the Cape they'll print the new masks and production can ramp up. :-) Unless you have a better suggestion....
