Ted, YOU WERE THERE but Scumbria was the most ardent supporter of Gore. He knew him.

So what? That doesn't mean he was posting on the FAMD thread. In fact, he didn't. I remember because I was pretty disappointed. As it turned out, Scumbria was more talk than anything else and rarely followed his talk with any real action. That meant he mostly stayed on the moderated or INTC threads. In fact, his last post on SI was on the moderated thread:

Member 4055153

And please note, in his last two years on SI, he never once posted here.

You're mistaken. I was there and posted a lot, sorry to say.

Not really but its clear you believe your own spin. [See above]

You're a bit confused about my posts about Intel, AMD and earlier Cyrix. I was an ardent Intel hater at first. Liking Cyrix. Later I pulled for AMD. Then for about a year I was anti-AMD and more pro Intel. Later switched back to AMD when the Athlon came out.

How is that any different from what I posted? And so you don't confuse the good people here.......you could got back and forth in your support of AMD and INTC all in the same day.

I can see where you might be confused but who cares.

That you're a fence sitter? Never.

RE:"Hmmmm.....just like Clinton created a real estate bubble, huh? You're another one of those dangerous people who passes as a good American citizen......and alleges to be a real estate expert.

Clinton signed a bill giving a cap gain (up to $500k} tax break on the profit of the sale of a house. The Congress passed it too. This greatly contributed to the RE bubble we see now.

It may have assisted in the run up of prices but it was hardly the main culprit behind that run up as you well know.

On this thread the main reason I mention it is that you act like Clinton never signed a tax cut. A gift to the rich.

I see. Clinton does something that actually benefited the middle class more than the rich but you push it as far as you can so it will appear to offset the very real benefits the rich got under the GOP/Bush tax cuts. Jim, you are a real humanitarian.......God and Murdoch praise your name.
