re: Things were better under saddam and hezbollah...ok......

Well Hezbollah didn't rule Lebanon, but OK yes, it was much better. You think the citizens of Lebanon and Iraq are better off today?

Turn your TV on John. Even your liberal anti-Israel stations are carrying the controversy.

This is what the press is saying. Are you claiming its all a big lie?

"U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice voiced her unhappiness to Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday over the bombing of the Lebanese town of Qana, an Israeli political source said.

Rice met Olmert for the second time during her visit to the Middle East after her planned trip to Lebanon was cancelled following the air strike, which killed at least 60 people, most of them women and children.

"She said she was very unhappy with what happened at Qana. She also spoke about conditions for a ceasefire and the size and mandate for a force in south Lebanon," the Israeli source said."

"A White House statement calls the bombing a terrible and tragic incident. It urges Israel to exercise the utmost care to avoid civilian casualties."
