What shres said is laughable and on the same par as some of Brinker's prevarications.

In that same issue where Hulbert created "hypothetical portfolios" to try find some way to put Brinker's Marketimer in the number one slot for once, Hulbert, on the next page had the rankings of actual newsletter. "The Top 5 Performers Through 1/31/2006" No hypotheticals here, but rather Brinker's real model portfolios are used (albeit jury-rigged to overlook the QQQQ trade).

1) Brinker is NOT on the top 5 of either the "not risk adjusted" or "risk-adjusted" for 25 years.

2) Brinker is NOT in the top 5 of either the "not risk-adjusted" or "risk adjusted" for 20 years.

3) Brinker is NOT in the top 5 of "not risk-adjusted." He is number 4 of "risk adjusted" for 15 years.

4) Brinker is NOT in the top 5 of the "not risk-adjusted." He is number 3 of "risk adjusted" for 10 years.

5) Brinker is NOT in the top 5 of either the "not risk-adjusted or "risk adjusted" for 5 years.

The facts speak for themselves...Brinker just plays fast and loose with them--so does shres.
