Oh what a wonderful trip for you. I have always wanted to go to Monaco as in pictures it looks so beautiful. Still on my agenda of things to do before I leave this earth.

Have traveled to the Orient and had a wonderful time. We shopped until we dropped. Had to buy extra bags to bring home our bounty. Went there in 1988 before the Communists took it back and glad we did. While there, one day we stopped at a Burger King on our way back to drop off packages at our hotel and four of us ate for $4.59. Cheapest meal we had while there. We also made a rule that at any time there had to be two of us together at all times. Each of us got to see what we wanted to see. We really enjoyed seeing the Temples where we saw the only cat while there and I called it and it came to me. Was expecting to be told not do that, but didn't happen. We also really enjoyed going up to Victoria Station above the city. Also ate at a ship restaurant in the harbor and took a dingy out there and back to port. Went to an alligator farm on the river and had a boat come up along side us selling fruit. We DID NOT go look at the gators, but shopped at the department store in front of it. We decided, "they saw us coming" and made sure we saw everything in the store before we left not empty handed back to shore. So many live in little houses on the rivers there. Quite interesting to observe with potted greenery all over their porches over the water. School was out that day and the river was filled with young boys swimming nude jumping off porches and laughing with glee. Paid absolutely no attention to us while passing and acted as if we were not seen. Also saw more dogs that day on porches than any other day. They were mostly very thin, but a couple of them looked well fed. We heard of a place where they sold dogs and cats, but we never ventured near there nor did we eat any meat, except Burger King only, and only vegetables and soups in most of the local restaurants. Many memories were made on that trip.
