Nice rant there geo. Completely besides the point and coming nowhere near answering my question: why were all these women and children sitting in a house yards from a Hezbullah rocket launcher?

Not even accurate, as Israel's current government is not rightwing, but center-left.

The US is close to spending as much time in Iraq as we spent on WWII. It's inane and a waste of taxpayer money and US and Iraqi lives.

Gosh.. I seem to recall that the US had forces in occupied Germany and Japan far longer than the 3 years they've been in Iraq.

I also seem to recall that Germany was illegally divided when occupation zones held by the Soviets were turned in a separate country (E. Germany).
