I'm pretty sure no one cares about anyone else but themselves. This is the human condition. It's absurd to condemn humans for thinking only of themselves, and sometimes, their families because that is who we are. It's unfortunate but true and only a child considers it to be otherwise. If you were threatened by someone much larger than you, what would you do? Give up? This is what I mean by the US and Israel complaining that the pipsqueak refuses to play their game. DUH. This argument isn't going to be won in this way because people are getting to be more even everyday and will not put up with the 'powerful' dictating everything. Who knows what it will lead to? It may be a disaster or it may be just what we need. At any rate, if you believe that the earth is getting flatter in economic terms, why shouldn't it be getting flatter in terms of the military as well. You know, our military may go the way of GM. It may become obsolete if it refuses to change in the face of a new reality.
