Your posts on this subject continue to be the best on this thread. Another reason, Israel will have to press on is a counterintuitive one. Hizbolla has launched 4000 kstushas to date. They have killed 10 people or so. If allowed to survive in their military form, in the next go-round Hizbolla will demand far more deadly weapons from their suppliers. Because of the PR disaster that israel has incurred, hizbolla will have more than enough money for these new weapons and i suspect iran and syria will continue to play their role here. Like you and Nadine, i expect a more traditional ground war with heavy casualties on both sides and with israel primarlly using air support to directly support their troops. How long do you think it will take them to defeat hizbolla? Mike
