I see you didn't have any response to your question from the dedicated lefties here...Looks like they in fact do think this

Yeah.. was having a conversation about this with a hill staffer who works for a Florida representative yesterday down in Georgetown. There have been some proposals on the hill with the thinking that the US may have to lift the embargo agaist Cuba so that US oil drilling companies have the ability to bring their technology to Cuba in order to have some measure of influence as to what is used in the Cuban drilling..

This is going to be very controversial.. but not anymore than the Castro's turning into another Hugo Chavez style government, fueled and revitalized by oil revenue..

Still struggling to make a halfway intelligible argument are we LOL? The world's (led always by the US) insatiable, and apparently non-elastic, need for energy and consumer goods drives pollution.

Try breathing in parts of China.

Now you'll try and make the childish argument that China is a communist country except that it has minted a million millionaires which is really strange in a communist country. Then again, you wouldn't understand a rational political or social argument if it came and rapped you on the nose.

Go back to school and learn something, learn anything.
