And another thing that just occurred to me, do you think Iraqi Jews that ran from Saddam's regime should be allowed to return to Iraq as citizens, but Arabs that ran from Israel in the war of independence should not have the right of return? That seems a bit hypocritical.


They didn't run from Saddam's regime. They were thrown out overnight in 1951, long before Saddam.

Sure the Arabs should be able to return - AFTER there is a peace treaty with mutual recognition. Doesn't mean Israel has to open the floodgates. We're a multiethnic society too, do we allow unlimited immigration from Mexico? How that that stack up with your ideals?

In fact, Israel has allowed Arabs to return in certain numbers when things looked more peaceful. But the extremists, who don't want any peaceful cooperation, always send in suicide bombers, which tends to shut down the operation.
