Us heavy direct involvement in "peacemaking" Iraq, or US hands off approach in peacemaking in Israel-Lebanon, or US sucks regardless approach of some posters here. Why I bother to ask I don't know, but whattaya say? LOL...this from a man who believes that the US policy in israel is "hands off"...btw, your attempt to paint those who disagree with the party line as anti american is tiresome and boring. The us role in the ME will never produce results until it is one of (as near as possibly) evenhanded peacemaker...i say evenhanded fully aware of the fact that the word means different things to different people...but, hey, if it was easy, the UN could solve it. The only progress EVER registered in the ME has come at the hand of NEGOTIATION. When that stops, violence follows and violence begets more violence. Al
