They have been playing a dirty game here by acceding to hizbolla demands and now blaming israel for what has befallen them. Cant we ever find a reputable arab regime or is that just an oxymoron?

All that has happened is that the Lebanese government's inability (and unwillingness) to rein in Hizbullah has been revealed.

It has shown that Lebanon's democracy was a fraud because the PM is so afraid of being assassinated (like Hariri, a former PM) that he has to kow-tow to Hizbullah.

I do weep for both the Israelis and Lebanese people who will ultimately suffer the consequences of Lebanon's tolerance of a armed totalitarian militia dictating their foreign policy.
