Mubarak warns peace process could collapse

President Hosni Mubarak, whose Arab country was the first to sign a peace treaty with Israel, warned Monday that the entire Middle East peace could collapse because of Israel's fighting in Lebanon.

"Egypt, which triggered the peace process, warns of the consequences of its collapse," Mubarak said in a nationwide televised statement. "The Israeli aggression undermines the opportunities to continue it and its success."

Mubarak is under domestic fire from opposition groups for his refusal to revoke Egypt's 1979 peace treaty with Israel.

Z, I voted for Kerry and I'm not ashamed to admit I did. Almost every person I know voted for Kerry, and I don't know a single one that's ashamed to admit it. Not a one.

I can imagine members of the media refusing to admit it on the grounds of "fair and balanced" reporting.

Kind of like the leftists on this thread who still think they're "moderates." At least you and Ted don't delude yourselves in this way.

"Why is it likely? I voted for Kerry and I'm not ashamed to admit I did. Almost every person I know voted for Kerry, and I don't know a single one that's ashamed to admit it. Not a one."

I drive around with my Kerry bumper sticker right next to the "Had Enough?" bumper sticker, in UTAH! I'm proud that I worked against the worst President in my lifetime. Is ANYONE claiming that Bush isn't a failed President? ANYONE?
