Are you that obtuse? All this started because Israel did not want to do a prisoner swap of the thousands they have in their gulags for 2 of their soldiers

What prisoners? Are you claiming there are thousands of Lebanese prisoners in Israeli jails?

Once again, you reveal just how ill-informed and idiotic you are...

The prisoners in question are primarily Palestinian. And for Hizbullah to involve Lebanon in a war with Israel over Palestinian prisoners would be tantamount to the Iraq going to war, at the instigation of Iraqi Kurds, with Turkey over Kurdish PKK prisoners the Turks are holding.

Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails are NONE of Hizbullah's (or Lebanon's) business.

But if Lebanon wants to go to war over Palestinian prisoners, then I guess they have that right.. or more appropriately, they have the right to rally around Hizbullah and their cause.

And last I looked it was Israel that was fighting an offensive war and Hezbollah a defensive one.

Gosh.. Hitler was fighting a defensive war from 1943 onward too.. I guess we should have used the same kind of restraint that Israel is showing in this conflict.

After all, there weren't any Nazi or Japanese military units in the US or Britain either...
