All that Olmert needs now is a "Mission Accomplished" banner.

It's time for PEACE-PEACE-PEACE. Everywhere. None of these wars and punitive raids will lead to anything but more wars. That includes everything in Iraq, around North Korea, Lebanon, you name it.

”Peace is for all time. It is the one goal that must be at the forefront of every action.

We like to believe that all our worldly brethren are basically decent, courageous, and honorable people, who will struggle to do the right thing given the opportunity. However, at the risk of having all the flowers ripped from my hair by you peace freak extremists, I feel bound to point out a couple of things.

It does not promote peace with criminals to disarm the police while robbers, thieves, muggers, rapists, kidnappers, slavers, and murderers are marauding through the land. Criminal actions require a resolute and just response by civil society. Global aggression, oppression, terrorism, or violent instability is no different.

There is no time that is not a good time for Peace. You may wish to wash your hands of global conflict and retire to a cave; frankly I wouldn’t hold it against anyone, I might even join you. However, I use extreme caution before judging others who take an active stand against brutal tyranny, oppression, terrorism and such.

Peace with justice is the most honorable goal I can imagine. Lacking the ability to impose that on the world, I seek a personal Peace that comes with an acceptance of my circumstance and limitations; while dealing as nobly as possible with the larger world according to my level of influence.

He is a malfunctioning neocon. He was asking for a war when the batteries were strong. Now that the batteries have run out, he is behaving like a normal person!
