Sometimes it takes an unsuccessful war to make people value peace again. Iraq has certainly proven that. Now Lebanon may prove that to both sides. No one is happy about the devastation in Lebanon. And there is plenty of blame to go around. Kidnapping and killing the Israeli soldiers was very stupid. The result was predictable and the whole exercise helped no one. Those chickenhawk Bushies calling for World War III also ought to be bitch-slapped. Notice not a single one of them has ever served in combat.
