What are you talking about? Hezbollah wants to end the state of Israel. They don't want a Jewish homeland where Israel is today. Shebba Farms don't mean much in that equation.

Elroy.. do you understand the meaning of "Fraudulent Claim" or the word "contrived"??

Sure, Hizbullah's goal is eliminate Israel. But for the purpose of the current and immediate conflict, they have conveniently contrived an excuse that Israel is still occupying Lebanese territory, namely Shaba farms in order to justify their struggle and the maintaining of an armed resistance force against the "Israeli occupier".

This, despite the fact that neither Syria (until the past couple of days), or the international community (the UN) have recognized such a claim as having any merit.

And certainly, until Syria's recent words on the matter, Israel had NO RIGHT UNDER UNSC 242, to permit land claimed by Syria to be used as a bargaining chip to placate Hizbullah or the Lebanese government.

Now considering that no had previously recognized Shaba farms as belonging to Lebanon, it might now be that Hizbullah's war has been one of territorial expansion. After all, if Shaba farms is given to Lebanon, it will increase its overall territory.

Hmmm....
