Oh, I'm so scared: And here is one for Utopia.. en.wikipedia.org Now tell where either one of those concepts survive human nature? It is NOT human nature or instinct to "share" with strangers. That's a learned behavior. Human nature and instinct, bred into as part of the innate insecurity, perhaps, seeks to control (if not exploit) their environment and interactions with other human beings. When one individuals desire for control and security interferes with another individual's same desire, that's called conflict. And while it might be a Utopian dream to have a communist system, it seldom survives human nature. Capitalism, on the other hand, acknowledges human nature and and the drive to advance themselves and receive appropriate compensation for their ability to design, engineer, or market a particular product better than other individuals. It creates a STRIVING for something better, rather than mere complacency with what we already have (status quo). Unfettered, Capitalism can be just as cruel as Communism, which instinctively seeks to undermine human individuality in its vain attempt to convince us (coercively) that we're all "equal". Furthermore, few people work for pleasure. It's just something we do so that we're able to enjoy a decent standard of living and can enjoy our families or other recreations. Capitalism provides for a means in which workers CAN enjoy the profits of their collective labor. It's called the stock market, which provides them DIRECT OWNERSHIP of the company they work so hard for. Communism calls for a "dictatorship of the proletariat":en.wikipedia.org And this is where human nature often interferes with the "goal" of transitioning from Capitalism to Communism. Because who's to say what gets produced for the good of society? Who's to say how many of a particular car model are to be produced? Who's to say who deserves to have a car, and who gets a bicycle? This is your problem.. You're simply not grounded in reality Geode00.. You've spent SO MUCH TIME with your head in the clounds that your feet have left the ground. You've lost your grip on the reality of human nature and think that you have the right to dictate that people should think the same way you do. And then you can't understand when you find yourself and ideas constantly confronted by facts and applied analysis. You're wishing for a world that may never be, while the rest of us are coping with the world as it is. Hawk
