I've had a little strategic military planning education... and as with any "sport", the first thing you have to do is contol the middle of the playing field (Iraq). Then you have the shortest distance to respond, and the most versatility. re: Did I mention that Turkey has over a quarter million troops on the Iraqi border? And that they have been complaining about cross border attacks from Iraq? And all their talk about an "escalating crisis" that will "force them to take action"? The "New Middle East"? Do we think they just made that up a couple of days ago? Do we think Bush is staying in Iraq and spending $Billions a month for nothing... no longer range plan? Why are they building the world's largest "Embassy" (actually a huge government center) outside of Baghdad? (To say nothing of a dozen permanent military bases). </paranoia> Who knows? I'm just saying the pieces fit. A little better each day. A look at the map is ... wait a minute ... I hear black helicopters .......................................
