A group gang bang can easily be had without any contract at all. If people want to live together in marriage, why prevent them? And I ask you again, is serial marriage and divorce such a stable thing that we need to prevent the small number of people who would like other arrangements from getting married? I bet polygamous Mormon marriages are fairly stable. I don't know for sure- but I bet they are more stable than regular marriages. So if stability is what you want, then I would think you wouldn't want to exclude the Mormon families that want to practice polygamy according to their scripture.
