However, this is border remapping, not major importation. The solutions in general BTW, involve physically separating the groups that don't get along, and giving them their "own" states.

There have been populations moves, willing and unwilling, of many millions of people in the last century. For instance, separating the Greeks and the Turks involved uprooting communities that had been there continuously since 600 bce.
