I don't think that is Israel's goal or else they would not have voted the civilians in Beirut who embraced democracy already

One of the strange hallmarks of modern war is that the bombs are quite accurate, so people judge accordingly. Northern Beirut, Christian and Sunni, is not only not bombed but open for business. It is Hizbullah that is being bombed. That is no democracy. It is not even Lebanese. For what interest of Lebanon did it start this war?
