f you include Israel, the West Bank and Gaza strip in one unified country, it looks great on the map. It requires granting citizenship to the Palestinians and having Israel be the homeland of the people of the Levant, not just the Jews, and renamed to have a name with unifying implications rather than divisive religious implications.

That would be nice, but demographically the Jews would see only decline for themselves in such a state. If you enforced reproductive controls, so that each group of people preserved their own "birthright" for subsequent generations it might work. In the end, reproduction is what all the worlds fighting is about, most people just cannot connect the dots between welcoming a nice baby into the world and killing the next 18yr old soldier.
