That sounds right. He was not good enough to land a major gig, but he was a second stringer with enough notoriety that traveling troops would bring him on as a rainmaker.

Ron Reagan co-hosts his own show on MSNBC and is one the Hardballers. He's very respected and gives truthful measured analysis. Yes he was a ballet dancer but Bush was a male cheerleader in a white sweater. So what? At least Ron Reagan tells the truth. Something Bushies need to learn how to do. Michael reagan is a smalltime, totally partisan obnoxious sniper throwing spitballs at anyone who's a democrat. He is a blowhard. He has lied many many times. He never apologizes for lying. And I wonder what he has to say about Bush calling stem cell research "murder" when it's Nancy Reagan's #1 case?
