There was no Whitewater scandal. He was cleared of all charges and there was nothing there. Just a witchhunt to try and find dirt on the most successful president in modern times. Then add on a few phony frivolous lawsuits from women who claim they were mishandled 20 years before. All liars.

You couldn't be more wrong about terrorism. Bush is a terrible counter-terrorist president. Just look at the rewults. Terrorism is up 400% and the Middle East is in flames. Clinton was pretty good, though with far less reason to be than Bush. Clinton also was never offered Osama Bin Laden. That was a shameless rightwing smear and lie.

Bush ignored the 8-6-01 warning about an imminent Al Qaida atack in the US. Bush was completely AWOL on terrorism and has still not gotten those responsible after 5 years. DEspite his tough rhetoric, he is all talk and mostly no action. He also gets D's and F's from the 9-11 COmmission on Homeland Security and has made us far less safe in the MIddle East, making Al Qaida and Iran very happy with his complete bunling of the Iraq occupation.

Clinton fired 150 Cruise Missiles at Osama Bin Laden and organized a Pakistani hit team to go in and get him. Bush disbanded that operation and all others against Saudis and terrorists once he cheated to get into power. Even his National Security Advisor never mentioned terrorism as a potential threat. In fact, Rice had never even heard of Al Qaida. That's how out of it they were.
