Check the news. That's what started this whole thing. They crossed the border, murdered eight soldiers, and kidnapped two others.

I believe I am using the terms kill and murder properly. You murder when you plan it out and do it on your own initiative to someone who has no idea it's coming, and you kill when everyone realizes and knowingly risks their lives by being in an area. That would mean those eight soldiers were murdered and almost everyone after that was killed. The soldiers would have been killed if there was a war on.

I just googled it, and found this:

jpost.com

"A well-planned Hizbullah ambush on the outskirts of the southern Lebanese village of Bint Jbail on Wednesday devastated Battalion 51 of the Golani Brigade, leaving eight soldiers, including three officers, dead and 24 wounded."

But that was in Lebanon, not in Israel. Maybe it is the wrong reference?
