Carter made peace between Israel and the Arabs. He knows his stuff. Unfortunately the peace didn't hold but the Camp David Accords were exactly the right thing to do, that is getting at the root causes, not just blowing up the results. Bush has been almost completely AWOL on diplomacy in the Middle East. His "Roadmap For Peace" turned out to be just a PR slogan.

Bushie Smearvets Now Lying About John Murtha rawstory.com Smearvets spouting their same old 100% dishonest smears, claiming Murtha is "attacking the troops" when he's obviously just trying to save their lives from Bush-Cheney's poorly-planned quagmire. This is despicable, evil dirty tricks campaigning. Time for every honest American to stand up to it. These smearvets are literally getting US troops killed. Think how many would still be alive if Kerry were president, not to mention if Nixon had done as promised and ended the Vietnam war earlier.
