I agree Israel miscalculated, and pretty badly. They clearly learned something from Bush! ;)

Suspect this campaign might last another week. Once Israel has cleared and levelled a buffer zone they will withdraw and let the UN take over on the condition that no residences/businesses be set up in the zone, and a clear understanding that intruders will be shot or otherwise permanently stopped.
