Anything that makes it harder to cheat is an improvement. Agreed. And this improvement seems like it is also reasonably cost-effective. The fact that it is not foolproof is not an excuse to do nothing. I never said or implied otherwise. In fact I explicitly said that a lack of perfection "isn't an argument against such a system". I wasn't arguing against the system. I was arguing against exaggerated implied claims about the significance of the existence and use of systems with fewer or less effective safeguards.
