More lies. Bushies have done everything in their power to kill every environmental law on the books, almost without exception. Across the board it goes, and the myth that cleaner gas has anything to do with the price spikes has been exposed as a big fat lie. I've posted evidence of that in the past. The culprits are what Kerry calls The Empire Of Oil, the alliance between the Saudis who run OPEC and the Bushies who run the Texas oil companies, along with a few others like BP, Shell and Mexico. Bushies want control of the Mexican oil business as well as Venezuela's. The only reason they hate Chevez is because he won't let them take his country's oil. They see oil as the #1 priority on earth. And no doubt they invaded Iraq for that reason, though they will never admit it. Right now Cheney's people control the Iraqi oil business, and 10-30% of it is getting stolen before it hits the market. These are not just thieves, they are mega-thieves, and the shocking thing is that much of what they do is almost impossible to stop and enforce, because they have positioned themselves above the laws. They also own half the Republicans in DC, plus a few democrats too.
