Broadband sales were modest, at 440,000 new subscribers, of which 110,000 were FiOS customers."

fios installed six months ago. took several months to get it into the house after bringing it into the development. i estimated 75% of development dropped cable and switched to vios. interesting with heavy thunder storms , fios has been up except if power failure while cable been out a day or twice in last two weeks.

talking with contractors they say orders are backed up. vz used to have two installers to a house now use one to spread out coverage to get fios up and running.

fios for vz looks like a winner from my experience. Cannot wait for tv coverage on fios later in the year hopefully. then goodbye comcast.
