Please list the actual weapons or weapons systems the United States sold to the Iraqis during the Iran - Iraq War. Man.. it's friggin' amazing how pervasive this BS is... Not kidding .. I went to the pool this afternoon and decided to stop on the way back for a burger and a beer at a local pub. While there, I wound up getting into a discussion over this very topic (and others) with a guy I know and his friend!!! They not only insinuated that the US "installed" Saddam to power but that we also armed him. And I asked the very same question.. Name the weapons systems we sold to Iraq? They couldn't. I also asked them why, if we'd armed Saddam, all of those Iraqis are using Russian equipment and rifles. I think I made them think about that for a bit, but none of them wanted to budge from this false belief. Hawk
