Profiting off the stupidity of others is what differentiates the great investors. They buy RE on the cheap when no one wants it and the prior generation of new age moguls is bankrupt or stocks when everyone is getting their margin calls in a market crash. A different mindset than the bubblehead riding the appreciation wave or a Phd in academia that is very book smart.
