The Haditha Marine should withdraw that lawsuit. The evidence that came out yesterday confirms this was a mass murder atrocitity. Murtha is right and is not libeling anyone. He has been very clear not to blame the troops involved so much as the war itself, which is so chaotic and out-of-control that of course Marines sometimes snap and do evil things. Murtha has shown compassion for the Marines. He is a 37 year Marine himself. But he does blame the Bushie policy-makers who continue this poorly-planned deadend war. They are the ones that forced our troops into this pressurized quagmire, then left them there.
