Reaganites bribed the Iranians to hold the hostages until after election day. It was called The October Surprise. In exchange, Iran got sophisticated arms from the US. What nonsense you spew. As if Reagan's very presence would make Iranians give up hostages. You are so naive. The hostage situation was big fat dirty trick. And if you liked high gas prices during the Carter years, look at the prices now. Twice as bad. And if Bush lifts a finger toward Iran instead of just threatening, the gas lines will just even longer.
