Agreed.. I'm not sure about physical support, but that PM sure provided Hizbullah MORAL support by effectively lending them legitimacy as a "defender" of Lebanon's territory, a duty that should be the responsibility SOLELY of the Lebanese army.

And that army would be on that southern border, were it not for the fact that they are not strong enough to disarm Hizbullah.

And no.. I didn't catch your edits, but I concur. Controlling a nation's border primarily means preventing any actions that involve undermining the nation's right of sovereign control (and use of military force).

Illegal immigration and smuggling are ALWAYS going to be an issue, but they don't necessarily count as a declaration of war, or military aggression.
