Start listening to one of the few competent liberal representatives of the people in WashDC--Sen Byron Dorgan(D-ND). He should really be a Repub, because his party has gone radical while he remained the "loyal opposition" (like Sen Lieberman). If Dems were at all politically savvy they would give steadfast Americans like Dorgan the power to lead their party. If they pushed Hillary, Kennedy and Biden into the shadows, and brought their few moderates forward, they could currently win the WH and congress without breaking a sweat. Howard Dean does nothing but lose votes for them. Dorgan has a newly published book, "Take This Job and Ship It." Hopefully it will become a bestseller. In it he criticizes Pres Clinton for pushing NAFTA through congress. The senator is an endangered species--a moderate Democrat.
