We are fighting all kinds of attempted abuses every minute of every day. People are looking for ways to get around the blocks as fast as we engineer them. We cannot and do not monitor over 20,000 posts made every day. With no moderators and you get Yahoo. With moderators you have to rely on their integrity and good judgement, and give them the benefit of the doubt at least initially, especially when they are taking on the burden (and believe me it is a burden) of moderating a very controversial and active board. That is the nature of the beast, and anyone looking for (their version) of perfection might as well be looking for the pot-o-gold at the end of the rainbow. It is often best illustrated at times on iHub's jail board when you get back-to-back posts from two unrelated users, one saying the site is overrun with "bashers" and that we are in the pay of the shorts, and the other saying that the "pumpers" are in control of everything that and we are paid by them. Both are nonsense.
