Time to wake up to the energy gouging and the abuse of power by big oil companies. And add to that many other huge corporate interests which threaten to swamp our citizenry and take over our democracy. Eisenhower warned us as he left office. We should start heeding that warning. Deregulation of bis business is a huge license to cheat, steal and pollute. And when you add cronyism to that at the highest levels of government, all bets are off. History has proven they will take advantage every time. It's just human nature. If no one's watching the chicken coop the foxes will raid it. Over and over again. As they have been doing regularly since 2000-2001.
