There aren't any anti-Semites here, except perhaps bongsnort and Emile. There are people who think that America's support of Israel is against our national interest, and those who think that Israel has illegal settlements that the US enables, and is currently conducting and overly aggressive, deadly war with Lebanon that threatens to start WW III. None of that is anti-semitism. Some people call ANY criticisim of Israel anti-semitism. It just means they've run out of valid arguments, or don't understand the term.

I think the reaction to Gibson is overdone but why would anyone run to his defense? Mr. Gibson is not a nice guy.......the acorn did not fall far from the tree but because he's in hollywood he has to play nice-nice. Why would anyone defend an asshole? Esp. a very rich asshole?
