If there were serious unrest in Mexico, wouldn't the market place a premium on a company with assets in North America (for silver, say, SBB.V, if memory serves) compared to an otherwise roughly comparable company with mainly Mexican assets?

You know marcos, I kept an open mind regarding Chaves, but when I saw him align himself with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who denies the holocaust, it was just too much for me.

I am also not a fan of Castro who is just a run of the mill old time dictator, in my opinion, Whom chaves also calls an alie.

My life as a hard core liberal does get confusing at times-lol.

As I told the Lt Governor one time when I was running for the house of representatives and we were on a debate panel:" I do not even let my kids play with republicans"-lol.

I may have told this one before: My daughter, when she was in high school and whos stepdad at the time was majority leader of the state house of representative's and my ex was chairman of the state womens commission, came home one day and told my ex: "but mom, most of my friends are republicans".

My ex told here: "you will just have to get new friends"-lol.

Yes, Amlo is stirring thing up, but in the end he may be doing a disservice to his country and to the people who supported him. He is creating havoc in Mexico City where he has (increasingly, had?) great support. The international observers have stated that the election was clean, so he is mainly just causing trouble in the hope of invalidating a democratic election, albeit a very close one. I doubt the well respected Electoral Tribunal will take any action other than naming Calderon president. Unfortunately, this could cause continued problems in central and southern Mexico. Fortunately most juniors are active in the northern half of the country where such problems will probably not arise. Companies like CKG have probably already had problems with the indigenous people in Oaxaca (recent unrest), as evidenced by a lack of news.
