And you continue sticking up for the crooks. Shame on you. Do you blame bankers for not having machine-gun turrets on their rooves after they've been robbed?

Enron, Bush-Cheney and their Texas energy corp pals did everything they could to hoodwink California and federal authorities, including a 7 million dollar TV ad campaign by "Taxpayers For Justice"(or some such BS) which was run by top GOP operative Ed Gillespie. The ads falsely blamed the "crisis" on the victims and democrats. It was approved by Bush-Cheney, who had been running campaign operations out of Enron headquarters. Rove was very close to Enron and Ralph Reed (Bush's religious right organizer) received 150 K from Enron that year as an "energy consultant". In other words, Enron and Bush-CHeney were connected at the hip, illegally, the whole time the gouging was going on up until the eldctionb at least. Then after that Bush wanted Ken Lay as his Secretary Of Treasury.
