I haven't followed Chan closely enough or traded on his signals so as to say I "trust" him. I have noticed that he is pretty good at avoiding the whipsaw false breakouts. With Chan I estimate you get the middle two-thirds of major IT moves. He seems to wait for a retest after a breakout to actually buy, so he misses the absolute bottom. But he also misses getting headfaked. FWIW.

I've subscribed to Jack Chan for 18 months.

Yesterday Jack Chan told his readers to go and buy any miners and energy stocks they like, and just to check the TA on individual names he said. He increased his positions in gold and energy and left some cash on the table. His suggestion was to make these buys over a 3 day period. This is the same advice he gave out at the start of impulsive waves earlier this year and at the end of last year.

The problem would have been the gap up at the open this am, which probably inserted more risk into this trade than was calculated yesterday.
