Once in London I saw two women on their own wearing Burkas. It was very surreal. I know some acquaintances that are very nice people who live in Morroco and Afghanistan. I plan to discuss some of these things next time we meet. I would like to better understand their perceptions. I find myself perplexed by some things.

I could never accept the challenges to being a woman that that religion puts out there.

Christianity treats women only marginally better, IMO.

That's one of the reasons I no longer belong to an organized congregation.
