So forget Baker and his negotiations--now we have to deal with the root causes before we can stop the bleeding in Lebanon? Lotsa blood between here and there. We have come full circle. My original silly little proposal from another planet suggested that we bring in a heavyweight to negotiate a cease fire and then deal with root causes. My silly notion was to provide incentives to ensure we have a lasting peace. This is exactly the opposite of what your people on your planet was and are still thinking. Apparently a lot of people on my planet feel the same way except they didn't go so far as to propose that we raise $US 800 billion or so to begin the process of building a lasting peace. You are right though, your people on your planet are in charge and my silly notion will not get anywhere. Silly me.
