If I can speak for that poster, I'd say it was precisely that. I wasn't defending the nutball, I thought it was clear he was looking for press coverage. Which he got. Sort of like when Dear Leader makes one of his out of left field statements.

JF, I certainly wouldn't called that "defended" and I think it's a stretch to call it "excused".

I'm too familiar with your "nuance" tactics to be fooled by that. It's way too convenient to just sit back and dismiss that sort of anti-Semitic rhetoric, or come up with cold explanations. This is no time to be sitting on the fence. This is a time to decide who's side you're going to be on. If you don't want to be on Israel's side, then go ahead and advocate the moving of millions of Israelis to New Jersey.

Neither Israel nor her enemies are going to listen to those fence-sitters who claim they are "on the side of peace." Well duh, who isn't?
