"Why would such a person have a problem with being considered unpatriotic?"

I don't know if she ever said that, but if you are really interested send her an email and ask?

She is against "ultra-patriotism" whatever that is and sees no need for patriotism of any kind. Why would such a person have a problem with being considered unpatriotic

She doesn't.......it was the threat on her life and her family's life that had her upset. You know....you guys go around and around in circles when you don't want to deal with an issue.

Its this simple: she voiced her opinion about the president and her life was threatened, her music was banned from most country stations in the South and she and her bandmates went into seclusion. And we call ourselves a democracy?

I am convinced that you all missed civics class when the concept of democracy was under discussion. Your version: You only can say what you all consider acceptable.
